Don Dodge is a direct descendent of Chee Dodge, a revered Navajo leader and former Chairman of the Navajo Nation Council.  Don Dodge graduated from Albuquerque Indian School and attended the University of Albuquerque for three years in pursuit of a degree in education.  He lives on the Navajo Nation in Crystal, New Mexico.

Mr. Dodge was employed by the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs for 18 years from 1966 until 1984.  He served as the Navajo Area Director of BIA from 1975 until his retirement in 1984. 

In 1990, Mr. Dodge and his brother opened an automobile service business in Tse Bonito, New Mexico that provides various automotive services and products to the Navajo people.  The business continues to be financially successful and employs 25 people from the local community.  Mr. Dodge is active in the day to day operations of the business.
